Patrick acts for rural clients in the sale and purchase of cattle properties and sugar cane farms. He also provides advice on other matters such as agistment agreements, land management agreements and land tenure matters.
He provides advice on land compensation matters if you are approached by a mining or exploration company including conduct and compensation agreements.
Patrick is also experienced in assisting rural families with their succession planning which includes, Wills and family agreements, inter-generational transfers of properties and assisting families with their next stage to off-farm retirement.
Patrick assists clients to find effective succession planning solutions which protect and preserve assets for the intended beneficiaries whilst also minimising the taxation and transfer duty implications which might otherwise arise.

Patrick is a Notary Public and provides Notarial services including witnessing of overseas documents or documents that require an Apostille from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Patrick is trained as a collaborative lawyer and is a member of the Queensland Association of Collaborative Practitioners which work toward the settling of disputes between parties in the areas of disputed Wills and estates or family disputes.
